Fly tomb
For combating fly larvae
Characteristics:
Lasting prevention in the development of flies.
Fly tomb is highly efficient in combating larvae in fly breeding areas such as manure or deep litter. It prevents the development of the flies in the maggot stage and ensures long-term success in fly-control.
Application:
Use a watering-can or a backpack sprayer to apply Fly tomb to manure accumulations that are not walked on by the animals, and to the border areas of calf sheds (about ½ m wide).
Dilute 500 g in 50 l water for 100 m²
1 measuring spoon = approx. 20 g
Treatment should be repeated every fortnight. If the increase in manure volume is only small, the interval can be extended to 21 days. Start with first treatment 5 days after mucking out.
Application as a sprinkling agent:
Sprinkle infested areas in the deep litter with 15g/m² Fly tomb. Fly tomb is effective against larvae and maggots. The fly population will decrease 10 to 20 days after the first application. Fly tomb must therefore be used regularly and at an early stage. All fly breeding areas must be treated thoroughly to be successful.
Note:
To control the proliferation of flies in subsequent days and weeks, Fly tomb must be used in combination with a fly control product. Our LD 100 or Killtec agro is the ideal complement.
